Hello, I'm Joe Psioda and I'm a Career Materials Scientist, retired in Pittsburgh, PA., now capturing Nature and People through Photography.  My interest in taking Photographs started many years ago with Kodachrome film.  At first I just wanted to capture the beauty of nature.  I even had an interest in painting pictures from scenes in magazines.  In my science career, I used microscopes and utilized photographs to demonstrate solutions to complex technical problems. So it comes naturally that in my retirement I enjoy being out in nature to capture God's beauty.  My pallet includes people, landscapes, seascapes, wildlife and structures such as bridges, tunnels and buildings.  I will forever strive to record my travels through my bucket list.  I also plan on painting scenes of what I photograph and comparing the shots my camera captures to the feeling my painting evokes.
